Dr. Yoder is from Richmond, KY. He graduated from Georgetown College for his undergraduate studies and went on to the University of Kentucky where he graduated with honors to attain his doctor of dental medicine (DMD).
Dr. Yoder then traveled to St. Petersburg, Florida to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at one of the premier programs in the country. During this residency, he completed over 200 hours of in-depth training in full mouth rehabilitations, cosmetics, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders.
Dr. Yoder is on a continual quest for self-improvement and knowledge. His commitment to his patients led him to the Schuster Center for Professional Development during his first year of practice. It was here that he completed an eighteen-month course to provide a patient-centered private care office.
His passion and study of occlusion (how the teeth work the facial muscles and jaw joint) led him to the Texas Center for Occlusal Studies for a one-year residency. Here Dr. Yoder studied minimally invasive dentistry as an option for people with broken down teeth, as well as TMJ and muscle pain. He has also studied extensively at the Dawson Academy, The Center for Esthetic Excellence, and Implant Educators.
Dr. Yoder married his wife Jenna during dental school. During his free time, he enjoys exercising, reading, and cooking. His belief is that the dentist-patient relationship is one of the strongest factors in preventative dental care and maintaining a high level of health. Therefore, his primary concern is spending time getting to know you and what you value, so that he can offer you the individualized care that meets your needs.
