RENVILLE-Found badly frozen after she and a male companion had been overcome by carbon monoxide gas poisoning, Miss Arline Dvorak, student of the normal class at the local high school, died at her home.
Kenneth Jackson, Renville high school senior, was dead when the janitor of the school, becoming alarmed when he noticed no tracks in the snow leading from the car and the windows badly frosted, investigated. Miss Dvorak was near death.
Miss Dvorak was taken to a physician's office where, after working all night with the assistance of volunteers, physicians and said she showed signs of life. She suffered a relapse however and succumbed the following day.
The ignition was turned on when the two were found. It is believed Jackson had started the car in order to get the heater working and that shortly afterward they were overcome.
